# Save a design as a template for reuse

To save a design as a template (to copy it to a new campaign), follow these steps:

* Go into the campaign that has the template you want to copy.
* Go to the 1. Create Design step (where your designs are in that campaign)
* Click the pencil icon under your design to edit properties.
* Find the "Save as template" checkbox, tick it and click OK.
* Now go to the homescreen.
* Your copied template should appear on the left inside the "Quickstart Email" panel.
* Click it and choose the option to create a new campaign. Give the campaign a name and click OK.

You will be taken into the email designer for that design (inside a new campaign)
