| Understanding how Welcome emails work.

Welcome emails are emails used for Onboarding, Welcome series or Drip campaigns.

To get started, use  Menu/Flows/Welcome

This will generate a boilerplate campaign that you can modify.

It's the same as a regular campaign with 2 important differences: rules for selecting contacts and the scheduler option.

In this example, we want to send a welcome email to contacts created today.

|| Rules for Selecting contacts.

The key to selecting contacts that match today’s date lies in comparing the Contact createdon date to today's date. We use the Diff in Days function to find this value. So a difference of 0 is today, 1 is yesterday and so on.

Segment rules for Recurring campaigns are evaluated just before the emails are sent.

|| Scheduler option.

Set the schedule using red schedule icon on the Broadcast:

The most common option is to set the schedule to run everyday to accomodate your Diff in Days setting. In other words, when this runs, it is looking for contacts that were created today, a day difference of zero.

Inbox testing

Though the Preview option in the email designer gives a good indication of how your email will look, it's only an indication.

There are so many different inboxing apps and devices that it can be overwhelming to cater for them all.

For example, some still use very old versions of Outlook or may have images turned off.

Tools like Litmus, testi.at and emailonacid can help by emulating how your email will look.

But the only true test is to test with the actual inbox on the actual device.

And you don't need them all.

This list would cover the majority of inboxing apps we see: 1 Gmail on the web 2 Gmail on the iPhone or Android 3 Outlook on the web 4 Outlook on the iPhone or Android

|| Generally if it renders well on these inboxing apps, it will render well elsewhere.

How to test: 1 Assuming your design is complete and ready to test 2 Proceed to Step 2 in the Campaign and Click the green Add new button 3 Give it a name like test 4 Tick the option Seed list 5 in the box , paste or type a list of emails, you can include up to 15 of them, seperate each email with a comma , or semi-colon ; 6 Click OK and proceed to Step 3 Send email 7 Add a Broadcast and use the new segment you created. 9 Press the Send button using the Green arrow. 10 Physically inspect the email on each device or app then adjust the design as appropriate. 11 Make sure to click every link in the email to v

If you haven't received an email after using the "Forgot Password" feature, follow these steps:

Verify the Login Site: Sensorpro has multiple login sites. Ensure you're on the right one:

Custom Sites: You might have a custom domain like: brandname.sensorpro.net.
Check Junk/Spam Folder: Sometimes emails might land in the junk or spam folder. Make sure to check there.

I didn't get my Test email

While your personal experience is valid, please remember it may not represent your audience experience.

Different devices and settings can impact how emails are displayed, so always consider the broader audience experience in addition to your own. Here are common reasons why you may not have received your Test email.

1 Your corporate IT may have blocked it.

2 The Auth setps were not followed (sensorpro.net/auth)

3 You didn't verify the From email address

PS Gmail is the gold standard for inboxing; follow the steps outlined here to check how Gmail reports on your email.

In Gmail. tap the 3 dots on the top right of the message & click 'Show Original'. If setup correctly, GMAIL will show each record as PASS. Gmail pass/fail for SPF/DMARC/DKIM

The advanced editor allows you to edit or copy the HTML for a layout.

1 Click into the layout and click the pencil icon

2 Edit the content in the editor.

3 To see the source code, click the <> icon

4 Copy the HTML

5 In a new design, drag a text layout into the designer

6 Click into the layout and click the <> icon

7 Paste the HTML, click Save

8 Make changes then press Save
