Why You Can’t Pause Your Subscription
We’re often asked if it’s possible to pause a subscription to Sensorpro. While the idea may seem simple, pausing an account isn't something we currently offer. Here's why:
📦 Your Data Still Lives Here
Even when you're not sending campaigns:
- We continue to securely store your contacts, email history, and campaign performance.
- Automations, segmentation, and compliance tools remain active and accessible.
- Your account stays GDPR-ready in case of data subject requests.
This ongoing infrastructure means that even a “paused” account still requires active resources on our end.

📬 Emails Keep Working in the Background
- Previously sent emails may still be opened or forwarded.
- Recipients can click links, unsubscribe, or flag messages.
- All this activity is tracked and logged as part of your account analytics.
Simply put, your account doesn’t “pause” just because you’re not sending new campaigns.

⚖️ GDPR Compliance Doesn’t Pause Either
Even if you're inactive:
- Unsubscribe links must still function.
- Subject Access Requests (SARs) may still come in.
- As a Data Controller, you must continue to honor opt-outs and maintain suppression lists.
Sensorpro ensures these legal obligations are met by keeping your compliance tools live—even when you're not actively using the platform.

🚫 What About Canceling Instead?
Canceling your subscription terminates the account. As outlined in our Acceptable Use Policy – Termination Clause:

✅ What Can I Do Instead?
If you're not actively sending emails but want to keep your data:
- Switch to a lower-tier plan to reduce costs while maintaining access.
- Export your data if you plan to terminate your account.
