So your designer gave you a PDF
And now you want to make an email design from it.
In this guide we are going to grab the things you need from a PDF to make an email design.
1 Create or open your account on canva.com (we will use this to convert the PDF)
2 Upload the PDF using this link: canva.com/pdf-editor
Canva will try to extract all the elements for you including images and text; next we will create a new Canva design to match the recommended image size for email.
4 On Canva, click File/Custom Size and use 600x300 for hero images or 270x270 for small square images.
Most of your email layouts will follow this style and our templates are optimised for these sizes to render well on all devices. You can crop within the Sensorpro designer and Sensorpro will also resize automatically if it needs to.
5 Now go back to the converted PDF & find the first image you need for the email. Copy the image (click the layout then the three dots)
6 Go to the Canva file from Step 4 and paste the image; adjust as needed or add to it.
7 Click Share then Download as PNG/JPEG (make sure the size is either 600x300 or 270x270)
8 In the Sensorpro email designer click upload images and drag the image to Drop images here to upload
9 For hero image, select the 600x300 layout from layouts and drag into the designer.
10 Click Recent images and drag your image onto the placeholder.
PS Don't forget to click into the image in the layout to add a link to your offer or website.
